TransliterationAwalam yaseeroo fee alarḍi fayanẓuroo kayfa kāna AAāqibatu alladheena min qablihim kānoo ashadda minhum quwwatan waathāroo alarḍa waAAamaroohā akthara mimmā AAamaroohā wajāathum rusuluhum bilbayyināti famā kāna Allāhu liyaẓlimahum walākin kānoo anfusahum yaẓlimoon

Translation · Saheeh InternationalHave they not traveled through the earth and observed how was the end of those before them? They were greater than them in power, and they plowed the earth and built it up more than they have built it up, and their messengers came to them with clear evidences. And Allah would not ever have wronged them, but they were wronging themselves

o these people not travel the earth so that they can ponder over what the outcome of the nations who rejected Allah before them was? Those nations were much stronger than them; they adapted the land for farming and construction, and populated it much more than these people have. Their Messengers brought clear proofs and evidences for the oneness of Allah but they were rejected.

TransliterationWalaqad ḍarabnā linnāsi fee hatha al-qurāni min kulli mathalin walain jitahum biāyatin layaqoolanna alladheena kafaroo in antum illā mubṭiloon

Translation · Saheeh InternationalAnd We have certainly presented to the people in this Qur'an from every [kind of] example. But, [O Muhammad], if you should bring them a sign, the disbelievers will surely say, "You [believers] are but falsifiers

nd verily, taking the people into consideration, I have mentioned every type of example for them in this Qur’ān, so that the truth becomes clearly distinguished to them from falsehood. O Messenger! If you were to bring to them a clear proof of your truthfulness, those who disbelieve in Allah would say, “You only bring futile things!”
