EXP-0009 — Muqatta'at: do the opening letters run high in their own surahs?
completed Deterministic computation
Question
For each of the 29 initialed surahs, is the combined frequency share of its opening letters higher in that surah's body than the same letters' share in non-initialed surahs?
Hypothesis
Popular claim predicts initialed surahs rank high for their own letters. Null: percentiles uniform; count above median ~ Binomial(29, 0.5).
Counting policy
letters-basic characters; the initials verse itself is excluded from its surah's body count; ranking is against all 85 non-initialed surahs; muqatta'at assignment per the standard 29-surah list; combined-share statistic declared before execution.
